QUALIFIED CERTIFIED DIPLOMAT (QCD) Symbol of Competency for Career Commercial Diplomats Mandatory Qualifying Programme QCD Mandatory Qualifying Programme is the most rigorous continuing professional training programme for practitioners of commercial diplomacy. A career commercial diplomat who has qualified and earned the designation 'Qualified Certified Diplomat' has completed a structured and demanding set of requirements involving aII the required disciplines and projects. The aim of the Qualifying provisions is to provide for the regulation of qualified career commercial diplomats and to bring them in line with the rest of the global professional bodies. Only those who can fulfil the criteria of knowledge, competence, dedication, good standing and advanced professional development shall be recognized, accredited and be referred to as 'Qualified Certified Diplomat'.
Symbol of Proficiency QCD is a symbol of proficiency, competency and professional achievement widely respected by international governmental institutions, non-governmental organisations, non-profit agencies, corporate and government employers. QCD is conferred only by the global professional body to practitioners who have successfully completed the Mandatory Qualifying Programme, the main category of professional accreditation denoting a level of professional achievement required through specialised training, significant professional experience, and key skills at higher doctoral level.
Commercial Diplomatic Council Qualified Certified Diplomats are uniquely qualified, competent, and are skilled practitioners with complete knowledge, integrity and proven ability at doctoral and postdoctoral levels. They are able and professionally accredited to practise and train others at doctoral level.
