REQUIREMENTS
Participating-practitioners are required correctly answer more than 70 percent of the test questions to proceed to the next approved,authorised and recommended training module.
Prospective practitioner-candidates are required to do the following:
- Pass the module tests and final examination consisting of Multiple Choice and True/False questions, answering 80 percent of the questions correctly.
- Analyze a real-world trade issue from the perspective of an identified stakeholder and complete the Analytical Framework and BATNA Interest Chart.
- Write a Decision Memorandum analyzing the issue above, recommending a policy outcome and course of action for the identified stakeholder.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proven practical professional skills-based knowledge of, and specialisms-specific expertise in the work of the WTO, UNCITRAL, ICSID, WIPO, LCIA, PCA, Commercial Diplomatic Service and others
- Demonstration of strong passion for, and interest in international trade and investment policy and the role of commercial diplomats and the activities of the commercial diplomatic system
- Commitment to, and passion for Commercial Diplomacy and Commercial Diplomatic Practice
