Capacity Building for Prosperity The Association's work is supported by many strong academic institutional partners from all diplomatic fields with a real commitment to progress. As the leading authority on commercial diplomatic education and practise, the Association will continue to provide platforms for distinguished practitioners to share new ideas.
Collaboration The Association will continue to collaborate with other diplomatic academies, professional institutions, intergovernmental and nongovernmental organisations, recognized institutes and other bonafied professional bodies in developing countries and countries with economies in transition. It will continue to encourage many trusted institutions of professional learning, and of advanced education to include a course or seminar on commercial diplomacy and or anti-corruption in their curriculum of advanced postgraduate studies. Greater attention to commercial diplomacy and anti-corruption in diplomatic institutions and academic circles will surely contribute to creating a permanent capacity for global prosperity and the global professional body's goal.
The Association works closely with government ministries, inter-governmental organisations, academic and diplomatic institutions, the judiciary, the legislature, and other trusted professional bodies to ensure that practitioners of commercial diplomacy have the appropriate skills, expertise and knowledge to qualify for professional accreditation. At ACCD, we believe that the key to quality, efficiency and competency is professionalism and commercial diplomacy should be practised by practitioners with professional qualities, competence and skills expected of professionally qualified practitioners. By safeguarding the integrity of the unique profession and providing advanced specialized training and regulation, we strongly believe that all these can be achieved. |
