ABOUT THE MASTERSHIP PROGRAMME The mastership programme is completely tailored to practitioners' needs, allowing participants flexibility to study and qualify, while working and researching. Participating-practitioners shall be expected to successfully complete and pass the tests of understanding (examinations) on the specially tailored professional training programme, before applying for the Mandatory Qualifying Competency Examination (MQCE) - Commercial Diplomatic Practice Programme.
The approved, authorised and recommended modules in the MQCP programme is expected to be completed in addition to or through work-based learning. Selection of practitioner-candidates for the MQCE is made only from among candidates possessing the best and most relevant qualification* . ACCREDITATION OF PRIOR LEARNING Practitioner-candidates with proven significant prior professional experience, especially, those who have successfully completed the WTO Advanced Certificate in International Trade Policy programme or commercial diplomatic practice, in an acceptable related/relevant international organisation or intergovernmental institution, such as the WTO, UNCTAD, UNITAR etc may apply for exemption. Such application must make reference to relevant areas in which the practitioner-candidate has acquired proven significant professional competence. .
