Association of Certified Commercial Diplomats is the first extraterritorial representative body and regulation authority for Commercial Diplomats. ACCD provides a wide range of professional membership options that are tailored to recognise seasoned career practitioners, including appropriately accredited Commercial Diplomats and new prospective practitioners alike. The organisation is independent of government and does not owe allegiance to any political party. As an extraterritorial judicial-diplomatic institution, its activities include advocating Responsible Commercial Diplomacy [RCD], professionalism, standardization and better regulation of appropriately 'Accredited Commercial Diplomats' and 'Commercial Diplomatic Practice'.
UMBRELLA OF THE EXTRATERRITORIAL BODY The umbrella of ACCD covers: ▪︎International trade and investment policy professionals; ▪︎Managers of international trade, investment and commercial disputes; ▪︎Analysts and advisers on international trade and investment policy; ▪︎Government representatives on the facilitation, negotiation, promotion and arbitration of international trade, investment and commerce; ▪︎Negotiators of international investment agreements; ▪︎Government officials involved in commercial and judicial-diplomatic issues i.e foreign commercial diplomatic service officers; ▪︎Academia; ▪︎Other officials involved in related activities on behalf of government ministries, parastatals, multinational corporations, and educational institutions globally. The cadres of individual Membership are complimented by a corporate option which is reserved for institutions that display an outstanding contribution to, and advocate Responsible Commercial Diplomacy (RCD).

▪︎Advanced training and research, through ACCD approved institutions and accredited diplomatic institutions
▪︎Public advocacy, capacity building and provision of ethical standards, at the highest level
▪︎Provision of appropriate impartial accreditation for qualified, highly-skilled and highly-competent practitioners
▪︎Provision of appropriate impartial accreditation for qualified diplomatic institutions that display an outstanding passion for the development of effective, efficient, highly-skilled and highly-competent practitioners, and contribution to the advancement and responsible practice of Commercial Diplomacy (i.e qualified institutions).
