Associate

ACCD provides a wide range of membership options that are tailored to recognize seasoned practitioners and new applicants alike.  The cadres of individual membership are complimented by a corporate option which is reserved for institutions that display an outstanding contribution to the profession of diplomacy.  Associates are individuals who are interested in the professional practice of commercial diplomacy, and wish to contribute to the advancement of the unique profession and the work of the Professional body (ACCD).  Associates are elected for renewable terms (annually).

Election:

The prospective candidate shall satisfy Council by:

• completing the WTO Advanced Certificate in International Trade Policy Course (Level 3) or equivalent, covering all the essentially required ACCD-CoDRA mandatory qualifying skills-based modules;
• currently in a related employment (Management position or equivalent) for an aggregate of at least three years plus;
• willing and able to promote, contribute to and actively support the mission-driven objectives of the Association; and
• willing and able to promote and make significant contribution to the development and advancement of professional commercial diplomatic practice and services.
