Distinguished Fellows of ACCD

Distinguished Fellows are highly-skilled and highly-influential commercial diplomatic leaders and seasoned diplomatists who have shaped international trade, investment and commerce-related policies at the highest level and now bringing their expertise to strengthen global commercial diplomatic landscape, sector and sector-specific services ties beyond their own responsibility.

They have made significant personal contributions to commercial diplomatic practice, profession and service. Many of whom are dual-qualified in commercial diplomacy, arbitration and mediation, and acts for a broad range and spectrum of clients in challenging, burdensome, and complex international trade, investment and commerce-related disputes, with significant relevant practical experience in international trade, investment, commercial, state-state and investor-state arbitrations and mediations, mostly conducted under various institutional rules (including the WTO, UNCITRAL, ICSID, LCIA, PCA, SCC, HKIAC, ICC and SIAC rules).

Former Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia

From 1979 to 1993, Hun Sen held various positions in the Cambodian administrations - the People's Republic of Kampuchea and then the State of Cambodia. As Foreign Minister in 1979, as Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister from 1981 to 1985, and then as Prime Minister and Foreign Minister from 1985 to 1991, Hun Sen brought about several remarkable achievements, laying the basis for the implementation of peace, national reconciliation, and the development of Cambodia. Through his willing contribution and efforts, Hun Sen proved an indispensable architect of the Paris Peace Agreement on Cambodia.

HE Ambassador (General) Mamadou Niang C.Dipl

Former Ambassador of Senegal to the Court of St James's, Ambassador (General) Niang was Area Commander in Balantacounda from 1972-1974, and from 1980-1982, Commandant of the 2nd Senegalese contingent in Lebanon. From 1988-1990, he was Chief of Operations at the General Staff of the army appointed by the President Diouf President of the National Commission for Management of Peace Casamance. General Niang was Assistant Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Senegalese Army from 1991-1992. From 1992-1993 Director of Documentation and External Security (Senegal) Appointed President of National Elections Observatory (NEO, 1997-98) and Ambassador of Senegal to Guinea-Bissau from May 1999-March 2000. In April 2000, General Niang was appointed Minister of the Interior (Senegal). In this role, he contributed greatly to improving mobility and working conditions of police forces. In January 2004, General Mamadou Niang was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Senegal to the Court of St James's replacing Mr. El Hadj Amadou Niang.

HE Ambassador Sea Kosal C.Dipl

A Distinguished Fellow of the Association

Permanent Representative of the Royal Government of Cambodia to the United Nations. Prior to his appointment, Ambassador Kosal served as Ambassador and Chargé d'Affaires ad interim in his country's Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York since December 2006 and as Deputy Permanent Representative since July 2005. From 2003 to 2005, he was Minister Counsellor and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Cambodia to the United States, in Washington, D.C (more)
